About me
I take on small and larger assignments in sculptures, model-making, props and sets for stop motion animation commercials or short films. In addition to building props and models for photographers, museums, exhibitions and such.
Good at identifying problems early in a project and finding new and unconventional solutions where established techniques and solutions are insufficient. Knowledge about materials and techniques necessary to make high-quality puppets, models, props, sets, and precise molds and castings, often necessary for a quality end product. Used to work in small teams on projects but also as an independent external freelancer.
As an introvert guy with a raging interest in always reaching the best possible result in any project I'm working on, the best solution is often to put me in a corner with music and headphones. Tell me what you need and I'll stay there until I'm done. You won't find me hugging the water-cooler and deeply engaged in small talk or gossip, but instead, feel free to drop by my desk for a cheerful professional chat about what I'm doing.

Qvisten Animation AS, Oslo:
Stop motion puppet maker/ Puppet maintenance technician
Solan og Ludvig: Månelyst i Flåklypa.
Responsible for planning and building 2 characters, one of them with a duplicate, all three animation puppets made with silicone skin and head mechanics. Planning, sculpting, preparing the puppets for molds. Designing/ making molds, casting and painting body parts. On the armatures I worked on planning, designing and adjustments of the armatures and head mechanics.
Also helping prop department by making a few props.
Helping the animators off or on set with preparation and maintenance of puppets and hand-props before each shot.

Responsible for planning and building 7 very different stop motion animation puppets made with silicone skin and head mechanics. Planning, sculpting and preparing the puppets for molds. Designing/ making molds, casting and painting body parts.
On the armatures I worked on planning, designing and adjustments of the armatures and the head mechanics.
Helping the animators off or on set with preparation and maintenance of puppets and hand-props before each shot.

My role was to help the animators off or on set, with preparation and maintenance of puppets and hand-props before each shot.
I also helped prop department by making a few different props, e.g. airhorn, hot-dogs, “pausefisk” and some weapons/ tools.

Designing, sculpting and painting prototypes like figurines within given guidelines for mass-production of souvenirs and gift articles for the Norwegian tourist market.
Also stickers and T-shirt design, product photographing, photo editing, catalog layout and website maintenance.

Responsible for making stop motion puppets and props for commercials and short films.
Sculpting, mold making, casting and painting puppets and props. Also made the armatures and head mechanics for the puppets.

Responsible for making the armatures for the stop motion puppets for the short film “Pølse” and various props for commercials and short films.
